you can get a heat sink or alternative mount off ebay, several different types, the new pmd should come with a # 5 resistor which is most common, but if you do need to get it off, i used a small torx bit end out of a multi type screwdriver, and loosened the inital tightness with a 1/4 end wrench on the torx bit then used my finger to loosen the bit and screw up the rest. if you need to get the resistor out use 2 small drill bits in the little holes on both sides of the resistor and work it up slowly with the bits at the same time.
