Like said before, there are a lot of variables, but the loses can be pretty significant. Maybe 10% over the course of a summer, higher if you don't have a pressure cap and a good padlock.

It costs almost 25 cents extra per gallon to get gasoline delivered to the farm so I go to town and buy mine.
