Sounds to me like a blown forward(input)sprag.
When you pull it down into 2nd or 1st, you`re bringing on the overrun clutches as well.
I bet if you build up enough speed in 2nd, throw it into OD, and back off the gas, it`ll jump over 3rd and into 4th. The forward sprag just overruns in 4th anyway. It`ll work this way for a while, but once the overrun clutches burn up, she aint gonna move. hope this helps Brokenwrench
