The clutch safety switch is likely a long, white plastic switch hooked to the clutch pedal with a plastic rod. They are not very costly, and easy to replace. Remove the panel beneath the steering column, and it should be visible. Or, perhaps your starter has failed... if the brushes wear out, the solenoid may not even pull in. A "down and dirty" trick with these Chevy starters is to rap the starter with a small hammer. If the brushes are at fault, this may jar them enough to make contact for a few more starts, and confirm the need for starter eapir or replacement.
