That depends on how far you need to go and how much is your gross weight. Short loads pay best per mile and may be best self hauled. For long stuff you can most likely get it hauled by a full time hauler cheaper than you can do it yourself. Going rate for long stuff should be about $1.50 to $1.75 per loaded mile plus a fuel sur charge. To figure the sur charge add the cost of fuel per mile over 1.00 per gallon. So if you get 10 miles to the gallon add .20 per mile for 3.00 per gallon.
