Most of the featherlite's have a tongue in grove plank design that runs the entire lenth of the trailer, very strong. Most all the alluminum trailers being made today are pretty good. Only one that comes to mind that I don't care for as much is the Exiss, because much of the lower frame is riveted together instead of welded. I have had featherlite's and would buy another one. I have had sooner's and they are not bad but not as good as featherlite. I have an Elite now and it is top of the line craftsmanship, but they are a pile of cash too.
