Whereas I run an oil testing lab, I found the testing data interesting. ICP results on metals are not really repeatable at less than 20ppm, so I find that data skewed. The latest version of the test is 5185-02 and the reproducibility numbers don't agree at all. Also + or - 32 degrees F on a flash point is ridiculus. I wouldn't put a lot of faith in that testing data report, but it sure looks pretty doesn't it? My guess is that it's a Tribology lab report and you get what you pay for as they say. You can make numbers do whatever you want. I was just wondering what kind of a Quality Control the lab uses for their testing. We calibrate with API and Nist standards. You will notice there is no mention of quality control. You are to just blindly believe.
