My sister fell down the stairs of her hay loft carrying a bale of hay a few months ago. Broke two ribs. I've been driving down to her place every week to push up the manure pile for her. The back and forth is still too much. She's started back to mowing; she doesn't do it for long at a time, though. The seat on her late model Deere is a lot more user friendly than the pan on my H. As Old said, maybe taking it easy, limiting time spent will be enough. Also, if you "tractor seats, disability" on a Google search there is a lot of expert stuff. Good luck, Wm PS I hate to bring this up, but if he's receiving disabilty income he may want to get more than technical advice before engaging in what some may take to be strenuous work. I know that just because somebody has gone to a lot of trouble and figured out how to do a little bit of useful work that doesn't mean they're fit for the factory floor, but you can't give the management weasels an excuse.
