We just picked up two old AC WC"s. We had a 8 X 16 ft 12,000 gvw trailer. It was a bumper pull and towed just fine. If you are towing over a long distance just make sure your not over weight on the trailer. As far as straps or chains either will work but make sure your insurance company doesnt have a preference. If using straps make sure you have one on each corner of both tractors. We travled over 1000 miles one way and crossed 4 states.
