It should be a ridgid setup with a small piviot link in it to allow the mower to follow the ground, but not allow the tractor to flip as the other person described. You are a prime canidate for that, as it sounds like the mower is too big for your tractor to begin with. The 3-point should be able to pick up the mower, no problems. Sounds like you have some problems... --->Paul
