John Deere sells a good series of books that I have really learned a lot from. They call it the FOS (Fundamentals of Service) series. Go to the Deere website (deere.com) and then click on publications. I believe you can buy the complete set or just the individual ones that you want. No, it's not biased toward JD, but they do show primarily pictures from JD products.
