Need Diesel Kiki injection pump info

I'm trying to find some detailed service information on a Diesel Kiki injection pump. It's a rotary pump that was used on many Isuzu diesel engines in automotive applications. Most industrial Isuzus have in-line pumps, but for some reason they used rotaries in cars and small trucks - like diesel Chevettes, Chevy LUVs, Isuzu Imarks, PUPs and Troopers, Toyota trucks, etc.
I'm trying to figure out what exactly these pumps use to suck fuel from the tank, i.e. the internal transfer pump. Roosamaster uses a vane-pump, and so does CAV - but I don't see anything like that in the parts picture I have - and that's the only info I have.
