There is a fella near me that puts in a few acres of check planted corn. 2 years ago I had the opportunity to pick some by hand, walking alongside a high wheeler pulled by a team of blacks. What he picked with his mounted JD picker was producing a bit higher than what got put in in narrow rows. I have to ask, is that dairy barn with twin silos still standing? Been all over the state and never spotted such an impressive dairy. John in Nebraska
