Start a log, a simple one. Put down EVERYTHING family can recall about Tractor. Review any records carefully(anyone work on it, maybe ordered parts? etc). Any Province permits, licenses needed there? With complete desc, query older dealers/clubs as to how rare(if rare) your unit was. Any Federal farm eqpmt census/records? Write everything, every call etc down; if you don't,after a bit you'll forget what you've done or not done; review the log every 3-4 weeks, things'l come to mind you hadn't thought of. Talk to people who your Gdpa was close to/worked with. he might've commented who he was selling to or where it was going . If it never turns up you'll know you gave it your best shot. Good luck.
