In addition to the serial number plate, which I guess is missing, H's had the serial number stamped on the block. On a smooth flat spot just above the distributor, maybe right below the #1 sparkplug. Eough coats of paint might cover it up, but it's a pretty deep cut stamp. Good luck, Wm PS The Manchurians might have said '36.
