The step-by-step above will handle your cookies. Spywareblaster? Tried it, didn't like it. When I worked a year as a computer tech, the tools of choice were... Ad-Aware (you can download this for free) Spybot S&D (free also, but might not be current) Webroot SpySweeper (used to be free, now the free version needs to be paid for to remove the stuff.) Pest Patrol (when I used it, it was the most thorough.) I also played around with HiJackThis, but found it a little too complicated for the average user. I wouldn't recommend it unless you want to do a lot of asking around on a forum. Oh, be careful of what you put on... Several nasty programs claim to be nasty-removal software. SpywareQuake and VirtualBouncer come immediately to mind. If you see VirtualBouncer, the tools above will remove it. If you see SpywareQuake, you need more specialized tools to get rid of it. And of course, all of the above programs need to be updated regularly, just like your antivirus software (you do run that, right?) I used to sell lots of copies of Norton, now I just recommend AVG for the people who don't have it.

The draft forces are
