We had been using the Ivomec but our Boers developed a resistance to it. We are now using Levamisole Solution (13.65%) - Brand name Levasole. It is listed for cattle but our vet recommends it as an alternative to Ivomec. Both are administered SQ and at 1.5 times the listed dosage (ie, listed dose 2 ml per 100 wt. we give 3ml per 100 wt.) Our vet also strongly discourages Safeguard, says that she has had way to many problems with it.
