I got a question / problem with those fuel consumption numbers. I mow with my 1975 diesel 5000 and 2002 NH 7610s tractors.. up until now, with a 10' mower. It takes me about 2h 45m to mow 10 ac. 20 mins of that is drive to and from the pasture, at just under pto rpm.. and the other 2hr 25 min is full pto rpm.. mowing. They both use in the neighborhood of 5 gallons to accomplish this. I fill up after every mowing, and fill to the bottom of the tank neck... A 5g can empties down to a couple ounces to refill them.. both tractors have the same capacity fuel tank. The 7610s is a 90-95 hp machine, and I've been mowing with it for a few years now.. it's fuel consumption has been this way since i got it. Only mowed with the 5000 a little bit.. but seems in line with the NH. Your tanks got a fuel leak you don't know about? Soundguy
