But I can't say I don't have a lot of lures! When I was a kid, if the fish didn't bite quick enough I pulled in my line and walked around the lake, scavenger hunting. It's amazing the stuff you can find digging between the rocks on the shoreline. But untangling all the extra line is sometimes a chore--if you don't have a pocketknife.

Well, this way I can say I never came home empty-handed!
