We are in Northern IN and paid 10 cents for a 17,000 bushel bin last year. In fact I just cleaned it out two days ago. Most commonly the owner pays for the electric and upkeep but if the user burns gas to dry the user pays for the gas. Yeah those 3 and 5 horse motors cost about $600-$800 smackers. You could sell them but if buyer has to tear them down they aren't worth much. Maybe $500-$1000. The two local dealers here get paid to take bins like that off old farms and get to keep the bin. Where exactly are they located, we may want to buy them if you don't rent them out, which would be my suggestion honestly.
