Maybe. You might try filling the cylinders with tranny fluid and also pour the exhaust manifold full of tranny fluid and let it sit a couple days. If you can get those 2 cylinders up about half way on the exhaust stroke so the intake valves are closed. That way the tranny fluid will stay on the valves and not drain out by way of the carb
