Well, like anything else, your way would be one way to do it, by drilling and using nuts, bolts, and washers. Another way would be to drill into the head and shaft and try an easyout bit, but it"d be a big help to soak plenty of some sort of penetrating oil on the other bolt side ahead of time. I don"t know anything about a Dodge Caravan, specifically where the gas tank is located, but if you"re nowhere near it, you could try heating the nuts to get them to expand away from the bolt threads to help loosen them up first. However, if your gas tank is anywhere near there, nix that idea. 3 out of 4 stripped? Whom did that? Not you, I"m sure. Mark
