Reporting from Strathroy Ontario, don't see any frost here this morning but it's damn close. Most of that corn that is 2 to 4 inches high has already turned yellow. Wrong end of the season for yellow corn. If this soon doesn't end, I fear for the corn, I don't see any beans up yet but some must be getting close. Problem is we've had so much moisture in the past week these seeds are either germinating or rotting. As dry as it was when planted, it would have just laid there without the rain. My damn oil tank keeps going down, thought I had it timed so wouldn't have to buy more oil, but if it doesn't warm up this week, I'm off to buying more black gold.
