Big M, Is it absolutely necessary to bolt down the Rumber boards to cross members? My trailer is a dual axle 14 foot car hauler type thing. Existing floor boards have a metal strip/plate on both front and back of trailer that kind of clamp them in place--no bolts into the cross members. I'm wondering if this is good enough for smaller tractors (like my Ford 800)? Also, would 16" centers be sufficient for my application? thanks, stephen
