The milky colour (color for my U.S. friends) is due to water in your hydraulic oil. Check to see where the water could get in. Also, it could be from condensation, check for a plugged breather cap. BE CAREFUL what your hooking up to. If there is pressure on the coupler, is a cylinder holding up an implement? Relieving the pressure could cause some machinery to come crashing down. Most quick couplers require a zero mechanical state (except JD Deluxe couplers..etc.) meaning there can be no pressure on either side. That means you have to shut the tractor off, and the implement has to either be grounded or supported with a jack. Hope this helps, Bill.
