I used to know a factory rep from DuPont automotive paint and he said that it takes at least three months for all of the solvents in the paint to work their way out so don't wax or apply large decals for three months. I've seen dozens of tractors at shows that were freshly painted and decaled with no apparent adverse side effects. Then I started thinking that at the factory the tractors get painted and usually go through a short curing oven or curing lamps then are decaled within hours of paint. The only other negative that I can think of is removal may be more difficult if they were applied before the paint was fully cured. Good Luck!
