I drove a very early JCB fastrac back in 1993, we manage to get 60 mph out of it towing a NH D1000 square baler. I would recoment it though, I"m pretty sure the baler was hardly touching the ground (I was too scared to look in the mirrors!). There were some Leylands out in the mid 70"s that very fairly rapid, a 272H could do over 30 mph, and even faster if you took the blanking pin out that stopped you getting top gear!
