Just saw your post to Casey Fredenburg re" Wards-BF Avery (Lesser Known Classics, 5-26). D"you happen to recall whether the Sewell Avery, head of Wards in WWII (can"t recall his actual title) was also connected to the BF Avery Co.??...you may recall the pix of Sewell being carried out of his office by two husky GI"s; made quite a stir at the time back east, but can"t recall which of "That Man"s" (FDR"s) new regulations he"d refused to comply with...

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
