Its possible the load speed jet(at the front and bottom of the carb) is set too rich and the plugs are fouling or loading up.With the engine running at operating temperature and at fast idle slowly screw the jet in until it begins to lose rpm.Then slowly turn it out until it starts to lose rpm.This drop in speed will be less noticable than the first adjustment. Then split the difference.Do this a couple of times to fine tune the adjustment.
