Actually, it does make some sense- You need to follow up with a few more questions to the seller, but at least you know it was in running condition, and wasn't parked because of a rod through the block or some other catastrophe. You're gonna see a lot more "ran when parked" deals in the future, I think, now that gas is so bad that you can't just go out and start a rig that hasn't run in a year or so, without considerable work.
