Allis Chalmers D-12 series III

I am restoring a A.C. d-12 Series III that was my Grandfathers. What year is it with the serial #9075, I believe it is '64 but my uncle says it is a '65 ? Also, I going to need new rims and tires and want to put the original size back on. The old tires that are on the rims right now are 14.9 X 24 but the place where I was going to buy new rims and tires said that 14.9 tires are too big. Please help. Thanks
