I had a 8n with a couple of spots in the center of the bottom and no $. I took a couple of pieces of galvanized sheet metal and glued them on with "Seal All". Never removed the tank from the tractor. When I sold the tractor 15 years later it still hadn't leaked. In fact, I forgot about it until now.
