You just need to learn to say no! The Amish in our area are generally good people but they will take advantage of you if you give them an inch. My parents once gave the neighbor permission to fish in their pond. A couple weeks later they came home to find about 70(yes 70) amish people fishing. When Dad tried to run them off they got mad and said they had permission and wouldn"t leave till Dad called the sheriff out. They literally destroyed the fish population in that pond for a couple years. Also Mom had an amish girl that she befriended and would run to town and let her use the phone. When the rest of the amish in the area found out they constantly hassled my parents for rides and to come into my parents house to use the phone. They acted like it was their right to have my parents cater to them. Dad also catches them hunting on his land year around and "borrowing" his old farm equipment constantly without permission. They act like its a commune and everything is community property. If I was you I would figure a price that covered your time, fuel, and vehicle cost and not worry about how much it is. They will either pay it or find someone else to haul them around. Either way you will have made your point that you won"t let them walk on you.

There are many types of cylinders that one might run across on a farm scenario. Each one could take a chapter in
