What you want to do is remove the tank . Dump all gas out . Pressure wash inside & out . Let it dry good . Now put some small round ( as possible ) stones inside the tank . Flip flop & shakethat puppy as much as you can . Let set for awhile until you get more energy built up & shake & roll in around more . Now if you are tired of all this , do it some more . Dump all stones & debri out on a pice of card board or clean driveway to see what comes out . Next blow that sucker out good with both holes open ( not with your mouth either ). If you think you got all the crud out of it check for pinholes . For added insurance buy yourself a can of that gas tank coating off ebay .Follow the direction on can . You won't regret that at all .If it were me I'd replace the shut off too . Hope this helps . I just did all this to my 8n Funk tank . It's time consuming . Good luck & God Bless . Ken
