Dennis: I have a 1958 Cockshutt 540. It works very good but it doesn't have power steering. I use it mostly around my woodlot. It does have live pto and a 3 point hitch. The only problem I've had with it was the crankshaft pully cracked and I had to get one from P.E.I. It had already been welded before I got the tractor and I don't know why it broke. It is a good tractor and I would buy another one, but my next one will be a 4 wheel drive, mostly for the woods and will have power steering. Good luck if you buy it. Norm...
