They say our climate here in SW New York state is very similar to Englands. It rains almost every 3 days even in the late summer. I graze or chop everything for silage and make very little dry hay. My chopping equipment is getting old and I already have a silage baler so I'm thinking of going to making all silage bales, as I would be able to use smaller tractors and save a bit on fuel as well as other things.
