Hey Allan, It is the hydraulic cylinder that runs the grapple on my F 11. I the seal and took it in to the shop to have a new seal installed. They pointed out the scratches and made a couple of estimates on fixing or replacing. I told them to just put it back together and I would live with a little leaking. The scratches are in the middle of the shaft, so it should seal when fully extended or retracted. I bought some 60/40 acid core today and plan on giving it a try in the morning. Hoping I won't screw the whole thing up beyond repair. I have a way of doing that! : -) Dug
