Read Rauville's answer,You can do a lot with Paint and decals(Done by the dealers shops) to make something into something else(Ford 800 to 600,Farmall 450 to SM,&ETC get the point),I have two old tractors bought from the org.owners they don't have plates but the numbers are stamped in castings.I went to an estate sale that the tractor was advertised right but was painted differenly,a COLLECTER stood and watched it sell and didn't know till the sale was over what it was(IT WAS WHAT HE CAME FOR).Rebadging has been done over the years FOR FUN and IS STILL DONE.
