Never, ever, ever, ever buy a used horse or cook stove from an Amishman. It will be used up for sure. That's why he is selling it. Also, never ever, ever let an Amishman hunt on your property. When you come home there will be nothing moving or living on your propery. The Amish around here in Ohio are the biggest bunch of hypocrits imaginable. They won't use electricity on their own property but they have no problems using it on your propery when building something for you. Also they have no qualms in riding in a vehicle but they usually don't drive themselves. They will also ride in a back-slider's vehicle. They will use gasoline engines to drive power tools on their own property disregarding the fact that tons of electricity was used to produce the gasoline let alone the power tools. They will use a tractor (the ones who don't use horses anymore) to drive to town but not a car. I've seen them driving an old tractor with a buggy body mounted on it on the highways. Hypocrits for sure.
