I have a 1710 ('87 version of the 1700 and also rated at 23 PTO horsepower) and have a 5' Bush Hog brand tiller that I use now and then. The tractor handles it just fine although no dealer in my area said it would run that big of a tiller. A real plus is being able to till up your tracks as you go. Also, being a larger implement, the weight keeps it from trying to climb out of hard ground. BE CAREFUL and be warned...you can till up more ground in two hours than your back can keep up with all year! Stan Theman
