Forget the high crop idea. Just the product of an over imaginative imagination. I suspect that you have found a 1965 Cub LoBoy. The front of the hood should be sort of square at the top. Does the tractor hood look like this one (if the link works)? The photo is not a loboy. With a loboy, the top of the front tires will be higher than the steering arms.
