Freeze 12 contains 70-90% R134a,so I doubt it will cool or stay in much better than pure 134a,and then you have to deal with a goofy blended gas. R134a works fine if done right. My 4450 has not needed a top up of R134a in 5 years,and has all the original 19 year old R12 hoses. I add 1 can of Interdynamics brand R134a refrigerant with hose conditioner and sealer when I do a conversion,it pretty near eliminates any R134a leaks. I have always used Ester 100 compressor oil and have yet to lose a compressor.
