O/T Real Fuel Milage of 2003 Ford 250 PU

Does anyone have a 2003 Ford 250 (2WD) pickup with a 5.4 Liter V8 automatic transmission? What kind of milage are you getting? Around town - on road - pulling trailer (8,000 lbs)? I have a change of getting one for about $21K. Its in very good conndition with 90K miles on it. What kinds of problems should I be looking for? TKS
