to tube or not to tube

I posted earlier about installing new rims on my 641. The inner tubes were stuck to the rusted rims and were in bad shape. I didn't want to use the old tubes but the tire company is having a hard time finding new ones. He said most folks were going tubeless. I could sure use some comments from those who have been there, done that. Sorry to hear about the fires. I'm currently putting James Hardie fireproof siding on my house because of the fire danger in the mountains.
