We had been married I believe two years when driving our old military 6x6 logging truck home with a load one evening that she happened to be riding along. I asked what day it was. She said it was Tuesday. I said no, what is the date. She said it was the eighteenth. I said "Oh, happy anniversary yesterday." That was the wrong thing to say. I still don't know what the right thing would have been, especially since I was the first to remember. Now going on 29 years.
