Alan, I know just how you felt,I've been there&done that. Went out to set feed for deer on a 4 wheeler 4x4 with my grand son,he on one and me on the other.got off the road and a brier caught the throtel? and proceded to run that thing wide open smack into a tree,climb the tree and land over on top of me. thank the lord I didn't get killed. and I rode those and motorcycles of all kind all my life.You just have to have respect for anything with a motor. Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
