mowen- weeds- not hay

Morning guys. Been stayen out on the farm a couple days now. Missed some good ones on here. My new field with no rain had so many weeds I finally mowed the whole thing before they went to seed. If it rains now it could come up good, but it looks like I may be putting in a fall seeding here. Had about 1200.00 just in the seed. Sure wont rent that Brillion again. How long is that alfalfa seed going to wait for water to germinate? I have about 20% overall in the field now. suggestions?? Have a good day out there, Bob

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
