It depends on alot of variables like:how much do you want to spend,how mechanically inclined are you,what are the best dealers in your area,what do you or do'nt you need on the tractor(cab with air,gas or diesel,powershift,power steering, etc....). As for cutting the hay I'd go with a sickle mower conditioner.What type of conditioning depends on your mixture in the field.
