Brent, Janesville Tractor is owned by a jockey who usually brings back Canadian tractors like that Cockshutt. That tractor was built by White Motor co. after White Motor co.acquired Cockshutt in 1962 and sold in Canada where Cockshutt originated. They bought the Oliver corp in 1960. Everything is the same from a 1955 Oliver to a 1955 Cockshutt, except the paint. There are a few other models including Mineapolis Molines where paint is the only difference. We have a 1650 Oliver diesel. Where the paint chips or rubs off (the wide front end in particular),red paint is underneath. It doesn't make the tractor any more valuable than it's counter-parts,other than a Canadian tractor is in the U.S.~brad
