Crusader; If you have your 20 in take the retirement. I made E8, got a remote and retired. Never regretted it. Kids were getting into teens, Mom was tired of a gone again husband and I was tired of seperations. Had just over 9 years apart in the 18 married years of my career. There is life after the military and you have done your part. Enjoy life now. Oh, in a seperation de-briefing (my wife was there) they told us our life expectancy after retirement. At my age it was ll years. Retired in 81 and still going. lol Bob
